<p>Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan, in collaboration with Bangalore Film Society, is organising a film evening called ‘Focus on Water’ on January 31, 6 pm at Goethe-Institut/Max Mueller Bhavan.<br /><br /></p>.<p>It will be presented and introduced by Georgekutty A L, Secretary, Bangalore Film Society. This event is also a curtain-raiser to the ‘Bangalore World Water Summit’ to be held from February 1 to 3 in the City. On the occasion, ‘Water Makes Money’ by Leslie Franke and Herdolor Lorenz will be screened. <br /><br />This documentary is about the biggest water companies and the resistance against them. ‘1 ½ Litres and Some More’ by R Samuel will also be shown. This is a candid film showing the every day occurrence in the life of platform dwellers. A boy of six has his bath every day in water that measures a little more than just 1 ½ litres before going to school. <br /><br />It is an open documentation, wherein the viewer can draw his own conclusions.
