<p>A techie was held for stealing LCD monitor from a Volvo bus on Tuesday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The Upparpet police arrested Sagar Reddy, 25, a resident of Mathikere and an employee of a private firm at Bagmane Tech Park in Byrasandra. Reddy, a MSc graduate, is a native of Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.<br /><br />Preliminary investigation revealed that Reddy had gone to Electronics City to attend an interview and while returning, boarded a Volvo bus plying on the Electronics City-KBS route at Bommanahalli. After the bus arrived at Kempegowda Bus Stand, the driver and conductor, as a routine work, inspected the bus and realised that one of the electronic gadgets used for browsing was missing. On enquiring, Reddy feigned ignorance. However, he spilled the beans when cornered.<br /><br />On reaching the police station, Reddy begged for forgiveness and requested the DCP not to register a case as it would spoil his career. Incidentally, in a span of five days, nearly half-a-dozen gadgets have been found missing from Volvo buses plying on the route.</p>
