DAV storm into quarters

A fine all-round display by Rahul Jagarwal (5-8 and 24 n.o.) helped DAV Pusa Road beat Shafiq Memorial School by 10 wickets to enter the quarterfinals of the 4th Hargopal T-20 cricket tournament at the Modern school ground.

Rahul Jagarwal was named the man of thematch.

In other matches, Frank Anthony Public School (FAPS) got the better of GHPS by 63 runs and  Ramjas No 4 eased past Pratibha Vikas Vidylaya by 66 runs to make the last-eight. They were later joined by Bal Bharti Pitampura.

Ramjas No 4: 129/9 in 20 overs (Nitin Tyagi 38, Aman Siraswal 29; Aman Kumar 2-14) bt Pratibha Vikas Vidyalaya: 63 allout in 15.3 overs (Puneet Kumar 19; Asif Abbasi 5-11, Sarthak Verma 2-15).
