<p>The Lokayukta police on Tuesday submitted to the Special Lokayukta Court, the status report on the investigation against BJP legislator Muniraju S of Dasarahalli constituency.<br /> <br />Lokayukta police have taken up an investigation against Muniraju on the orders of the Court following a private complaint filed by Puttaswamy accusing the MLA of grabbing lands in Kereguddadahalli. The police have been directed to submit the final report on March 5.<br /><br />According to the complainant, the legislator fabricated documents to usurp one acre 15 guntas of land of his (Puttaswamy’s) mother-in-law, Mallamma. Puttaswamy had also named Ranganath, then tahsildar of Bangalore North, Suresh, a Revenue Inspector and two more persons - Parameshwarappa and Rajamma - as the accused.</p>.<p>He had also submitted evidence of a ‘sting operation’ on revenue officials, who supposedly revealed the modus operandi and the involvement of the MLA. <br /><br />A transcript of the recording had also been submitted to the Court. <br /></p>
