<p>Five Indian girls -- Arantxa Andrady, Smriti Joon, Adnya Naik, Sharon Paul and Shweta Rana -- on Sunday entered the main draw of the Endurance–MSLTA $10,000 ITF women’s championships here.<br /><br /></p>.<p>In the biggest upset of the day, Arantxa toppled top seed Anna Maria Heil of Austria 3-6, 6-1, 7-5 in the final qualifying match lasting over two hours and 30 minutes to make it to the main draw.<br /><br />Shweta scored a 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win over Indian rival Riya Bhatia to qualify for the tournament proper along with compatriot Sharon, who outplayed Vietnam’s Phuong Dai 6-1, 6-1. Smriti trounced Nadine Klug (Austria) 6-0, 6-1 while Adnya outclassed Japan’s Nozumi Fujoka 6-3, 6-3.<br /><br />Also entering the main draw, starting on Monday, were Zhu Ai Wen of China, Arantekin Seda of Turkey and Ella Leivo of Finland .</p>
