Two youths, wanted in an attempt to murder case, were arrested by police who foiled their attempt to rob a collection agent in Saket in south Delhi.
Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested Shamim (28) alias Goonga along with his accomplice Nawab on Sunday at around 1.30 pm.
The police caught them when they had visited the backyard of a mall in Saket and specifically planned to target a collection agent who used to come to the area to collect cash from various franchises.
"An automatic English pistol and a knife have been recovered from their possession," a senior police official said.
Both were wanted in an attempt to murder case in which Goonga had shot Sonu in a gang feud.
