Case against BSY deferred by 3 months

The principal district and sessions court on Wednesday granted three months time to the Lokayukta police to submit a report on the alleged registration of four sites in the name of S Y Arunadevi, the daughter of former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa, under working journalists’ quota.

During the hearing, the Lokayukta police sought more time to complete the probe. The Court granted time till June 14 to submit the investigation report.

A city-based advocate, Vinod, had filed a private complaint against eight persons including former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa and his daughter S Y Arunadevi, accusing them of registering four sites in their favour under the working journalists quota.
