Navami celebrations

Paryaya Sri Krishna Sode Vadiraja Mutt will be organising nine-day long “Sri Rama Navami mathu Hanuma Jayanthi Navadinothsava” at Krishna mutt from March 29 to April 6 at Rajangann.

Speaking to media persons, Paryaya Sri Krishna Sode Vadiraja mutt seer Sri Vishwavallabhatheertha Swamiji informed that the nine-day celebrations will be inaugurated by Krishnapur mutt seer Sri Vidyasagartheertha swamiji. The inaugural ceremony will be followed by fusion musical concert by musician U Damodhar and team, he added.

The cultural and spiritual programmes for nine days includes Yakshagana ballet “Jatayu Moksha” on March 30 by Yakshagana Kendra, Indrali.

Exclusive cultural programmes will be performed by students of Alva’s Education Trust Moodibidri on March 31. Pundit Upendra Bhat and team will stage Geetha Ramayan on April 1.  Yakshagana “Invamshadeep Deelip” by Theater Yaksha team will be staged on April 2.  Lalitha Uliyar from Mysore will perform Harikatha on “Maruthi Vijaya” on April 4.
