N Sivasailam, MD, BMRCL, said: “The S and T tenders have been offered to Alstom, for the extended corridors in Reach 1. They have been given a rebate of Rs 39 crore for undertaking works in extended corridors. Johnson has been awarded the tenders for escalators.” Meanwhile, the BMRCL will approve the tenders, pertaining to tunnel works in the underground section at its next board meeting.
