The accused have been identified as Naveen Kumar, a forest watcher at Kaudalli Forest Range in Kollegal, Ravikumar and Marigowda of Manuganahalli in Kanakapura taluk. The trio were allegedly transporting the skin in a car that was intercepted on Bannur ring road. The accused were later handed over to Nazarbad police. A case has been registered and investigation is on.
