Dandy march

Bangalore designer Manoviraj Khosla is showing a new collection at The Van Heusen India Mens Week (VHIMW), which is currently on in New Delhi.

His collection moves from day clothing to evening wear with a sexy and edgy look. Colours include white, burnt orange, black pastel (chambrey), shades of green, orange and purple, and the all-time classics —grey, beige and brown.

The fabrics are predominantly linen plus knits as well as some blends. Texturisation is key to the collection, where the jackets are short and fitted, and the trousers are a mix of a churidar and a jodhpur but actually neither of the two.

As a trend forecast, Manoviraj sees pants having more room on the thighs with narrower bottoms.

Over 28 designers at the Mens Week will cover the widest range of men’s fashion — menswear and accessories — in 15 shows.
