CCB sleuths arrested a private financier - Sunil Kothari, 34 - and seized blanks cheques of various banks and several agreement letters, on Sunday.
Kothari is a resident of Nagarbhavi Main Road.
On a tip-off, the police raided Sunil Jewellers on 8th Main, Agrahara Dasarahalli and arrested him. He used to lend money at high rate of interest, with transactions amounting to Rs 25 lakh, police said.
In another incident, the police arrested Prakash, 54, from Manjunathnagar and Maruthi, 25, from West of Chord Road and recovered 2,400 fake DVDs and CDs of English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil movies, worth Rs 2.4 lakh.
