Srinagar Kitty is quite thrilled about his upcoming movie, Killadi Kitty, not only because the film has his name in its title but also because he is acting in a full-length comedy after a long time. “It’s a story about four friends who need money to clear a debt.

The script revolves around the things the boys do to get the money. The men end up robbing a bank. This lands them in a big trouble. There’s a twist in the tale at this point,” explains Kitty. Kitty further points out that robbing the bank was no solution at all. “But the boys went ahead and attempted something so drastic, knowing that they would be caught and put behind bars. They plot another game to wriggle out of the bank robbery mess. This is when actress Haripriya steps in to save them,” adds Kitty.

Kitty recalls that he shared interesting moments during the shoot. “I am doing a comedy after a long time. There was no extra effort needed as I didn’t have to research about the character. I had to play myself and I couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable role. We shot in and around the City, including the slums.

It was an enriching experience,” observes Kitty.  Actress Haripriya says she has never done a full-fledged comedy before. “It was quite different for me. Comedy brought out a different side of the actor in me,” she adds.

Jessie Gift is the music director, Ravikumar Thaana is the cinematographer and the film is directed by Anantha Raju.
