Man found murdered in Mangalore city

According to police, the deceased has been identified as Abdul Karim (36). He was engaged in fruit selling till recently. Later he ventured into automobile dealership. The body was found below the cot in his bed room and the signs on his body indicate that he was hit by a hard object.

In fact, he had slept alone in his bedroom while his wife and children were sleeping in another room, which was locked from outside when the incident took palce. Police visited the spot. Finger print experts and dog squad too were pressed into service. The motive behind the murder is yet to be ascertained. Mangalore rural police have registered a case.

Pedestrian killed

A pedestrian was killed when she was knocked down by a bus at Kulai in Mangalore on Saturday. Speed and negligent driving is said to be the reason for the mishap.

Fisherman drowns
A fishermen drowned while fishing at Gangolli on Saturday. The deceased has been identified as Lakshmana Kharvi.
