Aaron eases past Vimal to book final berth

Unseeded Aaron Raj stormed into the boys’ under-12 final of the Adinath Narde Tennis Academy-AITA Junior Championship series here on Wednesday.

Aaron scored a facile 6-2, 6-4 win over second-seeded KS Vimal Kumar in their semifinal encounter. Aaron will lock horns with Ayneni Vamsi Krishna, who ousted Krishna Teja 6-2, 6-4 in his semifinal match, in the summit tie.

In the under-14 boys’ section, Amit Bhatta scored a comfortable 6-1, 6-4 win over K Hemanth to enter the semis. Amit will be joined by M Kavin, LR Balaji and Dhruv Sunish in the semifinals.
