<p>The international future of troubled batsman Jesse Ryder is in doubt after he chose not to seek a new contract with New Zealand Cricket to concentrate on personal health and fitness goals.<br /><br /></p>.<p>New Zealand Cricket chief executive David White said the decision not to take up a contract for the 2012-2013 season was made by Ryder in consultation with his management and the New Zealand Cricket Players’ Association. Ryder announced the decision on Wednesday.<br /><br />White said “Jesse wants to concentrate on his personal goals without the media pressures, commercial pressures and other demands associated with being a contracted player.” <br /></p>
