<p>Dakshina Kannada district administration has formed task forces led by Tahsildars in every taluks for disaster management in the wake of monsoon.<br /><br />According to the action plan for the year 2012-13 pertaining to the disaster management in case of the occurrence of natural calamities in the district, that was released to the media on Thursday, several teams have been formed in the taluk and the district-level to meet the emergency situations. All the departments have been asked to take up precautionary measures in their limits during the monsoon. A 24X7 control room has been opened in the Deputy Commissioner’s office which can be used by the public seeking help. A task force led by the MCC Commissioner has been formed in the Mangalore City Corporation limits. <br /><br />Control rooms have been opened in the MCC limits as well as in all the taluk headquarters.
