Actress Nikitha Thukral is back in action, and this time it’s for all the right reasons. The actress recently shot for a special ‘situational song’ in director Ramnarayan’s Snehitharu. Making a special appearance in the film, Nikitha has worn traditional folk style costume. Director Ramnarayan insists that the song is not an item number.

“It’s a situational song which actually involves all the lead characters like Vijay Raghavendra, Tharun, Sujan Lokesh, Ravi Shanker, among others in the movie. We created an entire set and the song is very crucial for the story to move forward. I don’t want people to call this an item number,” says Ramnarayan.

The peppy number, 30x40 situ iddhara... is penned by Shyam and composed by V Harikrishna. Shot on NICE Road, the director says that he got in around 20 tractors and linked all of them together to one engine and had them decorated. “We made it look like a train of sorts.

The picturisation has come out well and the choreographer Nagesh has done a fantastic job,” he adds. As for Nikitha, the director couldn’t stop raving about the professionalism of the actress.

“Unlike what people say, she has been extremely co-operative, came on time and made every one around her feel comfortable. It was a pleasure working with her,” says Ramnarayan, who wrapped up the shoot of the song in just three days.
Produced by Soundharya Jagadish, the film talks about the importance of friendship in today’s times. First-time director Ramnarayan says that he has incorporated many real life incidents in the movie.

Interestingly, the movie will also have a special appearance by Darshan. “His character has been kept a secret as we want to surprise the audience with his entry,” says Soundharya.
