<p>A car lifted in Bangalore has been recovered with the arrest of a man in Mysore.<br /><br />A police team attached to Kuvempunagar police station on Wednesday apprehended a man <br />near the ring road in their limits. He was trying to dispose off the Toyota Scorpio worth Rs <br />eight lakh when he fell in the police net.<br /><br />The accused has been identified as Joji Thomas, son of Thomas K A, 36 years, working as marketing agent and resident of Kasargod in Kerala district. </p>.<p>The jeep belonging to G Chandrashekar of Bharat and Bharat Properties had been lifted <br />when the vehicle had been parked in front of the house in Giri Nagar in Channammana Kere Achchukattu police station limits in October last.<br /><br />The accused had changed the number plate to that of a car, only to evade police, said a release from the office of police commissioner.<br /><br />The police team was led by Inspector K N Yashwanth Kumar, sub- inspector M Mahadevaiah among others.</p>
