Eng (H) tops Stephen's cut-off list with 98 pc

St Stephen’s College at Delhi University which started its admission process in May has declared its first cut-off list with the highest percentage being 98 in English (Honours) for Commerce students.

Since the college has got a minority institute status it does not come under the DU’s admission process.

Students opting for English (H) from Science and Humanities require 96 per cent and 95.25 per cent respectively.

Economics (H), one of the sought after courses in the college, has the second highest cut-off. For Commerce students 97.75 per cent is required, whereas for Science and Humanities the cut-off is 96.75 per cent each. It has become compulsory to have Maths in the best four subjects from this year to apply in Economics (H).

History (H) is preferably the third choice of applicants with the cut-off set at 96 per cent for Science and Commerce stream students and 94.5 per cent for Humanities stream.

For Mathematics (H) the cut-off has been set at 96.25 for Science stream, 96 per cent for Commerce and 91.5 per cent for Humanities.

The cut-off for BA Programme is 96 per cent for Commerce stream while 93 per cent and 90.5 per cent have been fixed for Science and Humanities respectively.

Even for the Scheduled Castes /Scheduled Tribes category, the cut-offs in Science and Commerce are above 90 per cent. For those seeking admission in English (H), students from Science background need 91 per cent, commerce students need 93 per cent and for humanities 90.25 per cent is needed.

Even the reserved Christian Others (C-OTH) category students cut- offs for English (H) has gone up to 93 per cent for Science, 95 per cent for Commerce and 92.25 per cent for Humanities.
