Special trains to clear festival rush

According to a release by the Palakkad division, Nagercoil – Mangalore Jn – Nagercoil Special train (06304) running via Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Shoranur and Kannur will leave Nagercoil at 4.50 pm on August 29 and reach Mangalore Junction at 10.30 am the next day.
On its return journey, the train (06303) will leave Mangalore Junction at 1.35 pm on August 30 and reach Nagercoil at 4.45 am the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.The trains will stop at Eraniel, Kulitturai, Neyyatinkara, Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Shroanur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikkode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod.

The Chennai Central – Mangalore Central special (via Coimbatore, 06067) will leave Chennai Central at 8.45 pm on September 7 and reach Mangalore Central at 1 pm the next day. On the return journey, the train no 06068 will leave Mangalore Central at 8.30 pm on September 8 and reach Chennai Central at 12.25 pm the next day.

The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikkode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. The train number 06068 will stop at Perambur also. The composition of the trains will be 13 AC 3-tier coaches.
