Pradhan coming to douse fire

Promising to provide some solutions to BJP State unit crises at the earliest, the party top brass has decided to send Karnataka in-charge general secretary Dharmendra Pradhan to Bangalore by end of this week.

While closely monitoring the situation, the leaders also suggested Sadananda Gowda to take rebel legislators into confidence to ensure that the situation does not go out of hand, sources in the party told Deccan Herald.

As BJP central leaders are pre-occupied with Presidential elections, they are likely to buy some more time to attend Karnataka issue, sources added.

BJP national president Nitin Gadkari is learnt to have contacted State unit president K S Eshwarappa and Yeddyurappa, and advised them not to issue public statements.
