In a memorandum to the DC, Samiti members have said that the funds have been utilised to provide sewing machine, cooking gas and Ashraya houses but not to SC/ST but to economically well off people.
DSS urged the district administration to provide infrastructure facilities at the hostels run by Department of Social Welfare. They said that cases filed against Dalits in Lakya incident must be withdrawn.
