Mahima Patel to join Cong?

Former MLA Mahima Patel, son of farmer CM J H Patel, is likely to join the Congress soon.
According to party sources, Patel met KPCC President R V Deshpande in Bangalore and held discussions with him in this regard. Patel had formed his party, Suvarna Yuga, after severing his connections with the JD(S). He had unsuccessfully contested the last assembly elections from Chennagiri.
