<p> A student from Poland drowned while swimming at Thottam, near Malpe, on the State’s coast, on Thursday evening.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The deceased has been identified as Miloez Lachowski, aged 21 years. He was pursuing an internship in Computer Science Department of the Manipal Institute of Technology. <br /><br />The accident happened when four students were walking on the beach. Two decided to go for a swim. Both were swept away by a strong wave. They shouted for help, fishermen and were able to save only one student. Lachowski’s body yet to be traced. <br /></p>
