KSRTC bus stand inaugurated

He was speaking after inaugurating the newly built bus stand in Mandikal on Saturday.
The hostel aims to enhance religious harmony among students for which students from other community will also be admitted in this hostel, he said.

The bus stand has been constructed as a result of efforts by finance department general secretary Srinivas Murthy. Now it is the responsibility of the citizens to maintain the cleanliness in the stand, he suggested.

Legislator K P Bache Gowda, this is for the first time that a bus stand at the hobli level at the cost of Rs 25 lakh is constructed. A high-tec bus stand will also be constructed in Chikkaballapur shortly. A discussion to this effect was carried out with transport minister and the minister has shown green signal for the project, he informed.

ZP member Avulappa,  TP member K R Reddy, Gram Panchayat President Imamsabi, ZP Chief Executive Officer N Krishnappa, leader Ramakrishna and others were present.
