DYFI stir against move to privatise Wenlock

Speaking at a press meet here on Thursday, he said most of the people are denied of the free facilities at the Wenlock Hospital because of the BPL parameter. “The migrant workers are not getting the hospital facilities since they do not have identity cards. This is a policy to deny the right to health to poor people,” he alleged.

If the government does not take action immediately, dharnas, meetings, awareness jathas and DC office chalo events will be conducted in a series, he said. DYFI members Dayanand Shetty, Janavadi Mahila Sanghatane President Sukanya, Secretary Sandhya Achar were present.
