BBA student falls to death

He was studying in Williams College on RV Road. Prajwal completed dinner and went to his study room. However, he forgot to take his cellphone. At around 12 midnight, while he was coming downstairs to collect the cellphone, he lost balance and fell down. He sustained severe injuries and succumbed to them.

Commits suicide
 Jayapriya (22), a newly-married woman, committed suicide by hanging herself at her house in Vijayanagar in White Field police limits recently. According to the police, Jayapriya and Vincent fell in love while working at a factory, seven years ago. They married in April this year. She had called up her parents a few days ago expressing her desire to stay with them, said the police.

On September 17, she requested Vincent to apply leave for a day. However, he promised to be back by noon and went to the factory. He grew suspicious when he returned home as the door was locked from inside and there was no reply. He managed to open window and was shocked to see her hanging.

Kills self
A mentally retarded woman doused herself in kerosene and set herself ablaze in Chikkajala Saturday morning. The police gave the name of the deceased as Nirmala (45). She is said to have been treated earlier but her condition did not improve. Frustrated, she took the exteme step, according to the police. She was married to Thimmaiah and had two sons, both in their 20s. Police have registered a case.
