Probe misuse of funds, demands HDK

Speaking to presspersons here on Sunday, Kumaraswamy said the government had decided to release Rs 176 crore towards an organisation set up by a few people associated with Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha. The government should hold an inquiry into the allegation to bring out the truth, he said.

He also alleged that the principal opposition party the Congress had a flooral understanding with the ruling BJP to avoid discussion on scams during the recently concluded Legislature session. However, the Congress had denied Kumaraswamy’s allegation. KPCC working president D K Shivakumar, speaking to presspersons, said that the Congress had its own list of issues to be raised in the session and it acted according to it. The JD(S) had no prior discussion with the Congress on its issues of priority. “Had the JD(S) discussed the issues with the BJP in advance the Congress would have considered supporting the party”, he said.
