BU invites guest faculty

The Yoga Centre at Bangalore University (BU) has invited applications for posts of full/part-time guest faculty to teach Psychology, Anatomy, Physiology and Sanskrit subjects for M Sc in Yoga Studies for the 2012-13 academic year.

Eligible candidates should send their applications and the curriculum vitae as per the UGC norms to the Co-ordinator, BU Yoga Centre, Jnanabharathi, Bangalore-56 by July 25.Applications have been invited for guest lecturers for the five-year Integrated MA in Social Sciences for the 2012-13 academic year.

Postgraduates with a first-class pass percentage and who have written NET, JRF and SLET, and Ph Ds in the subject concerned can apply. Retired teachers can also apply. 

The subjects are English, Kannada, History, Sociology, Economics, Political Science, Statistics, Environmental Science, Philosophy, Philosophy, Law and Anthropology.

Remuneration will be paid on hourly basis. Candidates should apply with photocopies of their undergraduate, postgraduate marks cards, and master degree/NET/SLET/date of birth/caste/experience certificates.

Application forms are available with the School of Social Sciences, Department of Sociology, Jnanabharathi campus, Bangalore-56. The applications should reach the office by 4 pm July 26.
