Priya gives brother Sanjay's Mata Ki Chowki a miss

Priya's absence led to speculation on why and how the rapprochement between the two siblings would ever happen.

Among the invitees who came to Sanjay's place Saturday and stayed till the end were Suniel Shetty and his wife Manna, Zayed Khan with his wife Malaika, Kunal Kohli, and Bunty Walia and his latest girlfriend.

The surprise guests were Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle who arrived dot on time and stayed till the very end.

While the bonding between Sanjay and Akshay has been growing over the past few months specially after they shot for the last two songs of "Blue" last week, the bonding between the two wives was a surprise.

"Twinkle and Manyata were inseparable all evening. They had earlier broken the ice in the Bahamas when they had joined their husbands during the shooting. This is the first time they spent so much time together. The bonding between the wives is further going to strengthen the Dutt-Akshay friendship. Both the men like to socialize at places where their wives are comfortable," said a guest.

The Chowki at Sanjay's residence was attended by all of the couple's friends except Ajay Devgan and Bipasha Basu who couldn't make it because they were busy shooting.
