Now lodge complaints with BMTF online

Lodging complaints with the Bangalore Metropolitan Task Force (BMTF) is now just a click away.

Launching an online complaint registration system www.bmtf.gov.in, BMTF Additional Director General of Police Dr Rajvir Pratap Sharma said people, instead of travelling from far off places, can now lodge complaints from their homes and offices. The website which will be operational on July 23 is maintained by National Informatics Centre, while the website is developed by Software Guru from Mysore, Sharma said. The BMTF will address complaints readily. In case the complaints do not fall under its jurisdiction, the same shall be directed to agencies concerned, he added.

On shortage of staff and resource crunch, Sharma said the BMTF is entrusted with the task of looking after four major civic agencies. However, of the 76 sanctioned posts, nearly 30 per cent is vacant.
