Even as veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha continues to recover in a city hospital, daughter Sonakshi said here today that her father's health is not coming in the way of her movies.

"All I can is the promotions are not getting affected in fact they are going on very smoothly. My dad will be proud of my good work," she said.

Shatrughan Sinha has been admitted to Kokilaben hospital from July 2 after he complained of breathlessness due to some painting work at his residence.

On July 16, he underwent bypass surgery and has been shifted from the intensive care unit to a hospital room yesterday morning. However, the 66-year-old actor will remain in hospital for two-four days.

"He is absolutely fine," she said, at a promotional event of her upcoming fantasy-adventure film, 'Joker' at the Bandra-Kurla Complex.

"I think our film's uniqueness itself is our USP. The aliens are being liked all over and we are getting a good response. I like sci-fi books and movies.

The script excited me and I think such a genre has not been attempted before. It was a very different experience for me," Sonakshi said.

'Joker' has been directed by Shirish Kunder and features Akshay  Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talpade, Minnisha Lamba and others.

It is about Paglapur vilage which lacks even basic facilities like water and electricity.

When nobody is ready to solve the problem, Akshay Kumar creates a drama involving aliens from outer space, to attract attention to the village.

The film releases on August 31.
