Malleswaram is a hotspot for the young people in the City, thanks to its hangouts and eatouts.

The students of MES College, Malleswaram 15th Cross, revealed where they spend their free time.

Karan Prasad, a second-year Arts student here says, “I am very selective about hangouts. So there are very few in my list. I love music, so Planet M is one of my favourite hangout spots. I prefer to go to ‘Bunworld’ and ‘Sai Ram Chaats’ for hotdogs, sandwiches and chaats.

Santosh Kumar Yadav, a final year BSc student, on the other hand, says, “The college canteen and open theatre in the college is where you can find me during my free time. And if I wish some entertainment, then Cauvery, Symphony and Vaibhav are the places I haunt.”
Gagana Sindhoora, a third BSc student, finds the ladies’ room of her college heaven-like. “Other places where I usually go (outside the campus) is  Ragavendra Idli Centre at Malleswaram Railway Station and Veena’s Store. I often visit Lumbini Garden and Sankey Tank along with my friends.”

Nagaraj Gowda, a final-year BA student, says “My addas are totally unique. Zuies Snooker Parlour, Coffee Bar and Ragavendra Idli Centre is where I prefer to be. Of all the addas I go to, Manjus is the best.”

Rakesh J, another final year BSc student, says, “There is one famous eatout near the college. We have named it the Rats’ Corner. I enjoy the egg noodles and fried rice here.”
