Illegal structures razed to ground in KGF

The Council has launched a drive to clear encroachment of public places by demolition of illegally constructed structures.

Several illegally constructed buildings were demolished, as part of encroachment clearance drive by the City Municipal Council in Kolar Gold Fields on Tuesday.

The City Municipal Council razed a building which was coming up on 100’x100’ site near community hall  at Andersonpet. Heavy earth moving equipment was used to carry out the operation.

Later, the unauthorised structures erected beside stalls and two slaughter houses illegally constructed in the market were also evicted.

Municipal Commissioner R S Yarrappa, officials - Assistant Executive Engineer Sridhar and Jayaramareddy were present during the operation.
