The Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS), in a bid to revamp examination valuation system, will introduce Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) for answerscripts.

Addressing reporters on Monday, RGUHS Registrar (Evaluation) N S Ashok Kumar, said the RFID had been planned to reduce the time of valuation. It will assist the university in tracing the time taken to evaluate the scripts by each evaluator.  The varsity has also plans to redo the convocation certificates and the marks cards. The certificates from this year, will be made tamper proof with invisible ink. Further, the certificates will have colour photos with colour borders and gold embossing. A change in examination pattern is also being mooted. An examination reforms committee has also been formed to upgrade system. It will be headed by former registrar of RGUHS Srinivas Gowda.
