India’s Sports Minister Ajay Maken hailed Yogeshwar Dutt after he won the bronze medal in the men’s 66kg category to give the country its fifth medal from the 2012 London Games here on Saturday.

“Yogeshwar wins Bronze and India 5th Medal! the hardest worker... the nicest guy... no one deserves it more... True for Yogeshwar, he deserved it!,” Maken tweeted. “5 Medals in 4 Sports; another 6 or 7 could have just made it; with Sushil Kumar yet to come; this is India’s springboard & amp; bestever Olympics!,” he further tweeted. Meanwhile, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda announced a cash award of Rs 1 crore to Yogeshwar.
