Students seek facilities

 
“The first grade college in Chikkaballapur, which is a district centre, has become a pigsty. Construction work, which was begun many years ago, is still incomplete.

Students here do not have proper classrooms, laboratories or libraries. Girls have a hard time as there is no designated toilet,” they alleged. The protestors also said that there had not been enough teachers, and that there was no furniture in their classrooms. The condition of the pre-university college is no different, they alleged.

The protestors demanded that the exam fee, which has been hiked, be reduced. They submitted a memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner.
