Thinker Nanda Halemane called upon Mysore women to develop a unique fashion for city making use of training provided.

She was speaking after inaugurating entrepreneurship workshop by Queens School of Design in association with Handloom and textile department and zilla panchayat in Mysore on Tuesday.

Opining that textile business is a creative and largest business, she called upon women to involve themselves in the field for a great success. “Make use of the training provided to improve your creative skills.”

She said women could develop new fashion of their own with the skills learnt at workshops. She insisted women to involve themselves in self employment.

Deputy director of Handloom and textiles Janardhan said the workshop is organised with an objective to develop creativity in women.

Manager of Lead Bank M B Chinnappa, HR manager of Shahi exports Shubh Devaraj Urs, principal of Queens School of design Asha Jai Krishnan, Vijayalakshmi of Vijaya Sports and Lakshman Talwar were present.
