e-mail threat: four arrested

The Bangalore City police have taken four persons into custody in connection with an e-mail sent to the Chief Minister, Home Minister and Bangalore City Police Commissioner on September 22 threatening to explode chemical bombs in 15 places.

“We are interrogating the accused. It’s not still clear whether these four actually sent the mail or acted as per someone’s directives. We are trying to ascertain their role in the incident, Police Commissioner Shankar Bidari said. He refused to divulge details about the four.
