Nanaiah opens students' union

Inaugurating the students’ union of Madikeri FMC College on Wednesday, he said that students should think about development of the society and emerge as good citizens. “Human resource is abundant in our country. Accordingly, students should showcase their talent to grab opportunity. They have to excel in academics and have to shine creatively,” he added.

He opined that education sector has undergone drastic change in recent times. Teachers can use means of Information Technology to teach students various concepts and matters.
Deputy Commissioner K H Ashwathnarayana Gowda said that students must develop qualities like discipline, dedication and hard work.

“Students should not waste their time but should instead utilise the time available for creative purposes. Hard work is the only factor which can lead to success,” he said. College Principal Dr Pushpa Kuttanna, Students Union Advisor Ganapathy Gowda and others were present.
