Poonacha stuns Karan

Niki Kaliyanda Poonacha and Taipei’s Pei-Ju Chien scripted upset victories in the boys’ and girls’ singles respectively in the Indian Oil-Servo ITF Junior tennis tournament here on Tuesday.

Poonacha ousted second seed Karan Salwan 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 while Chien put out top seed Teertha Iska 6-3, 6-2 in second round matches.
