DVS against Netravathi diversion

Former chief minister D V Sadananda Gowda said that he is against Netravathi river diversion project.

Speaking to presspersons here at Kanyadi on Monday, he said “Paramashivaih report on Netravathi river diversion is not final.

The project will not be implemented. There is no connection between  Yetthinahole project and Netravathi river diversion.

There is lack of information among the people. Any project which will harm Western Ghats will not be implemented.”

He said that he has not sought any post from the High Command. He also opposed the foreign trip by the MLAs.
