'Salman is the tiger of the industry'

Salman Khan’s latest flick, Ek Tha Tiger, has been smashing all records at the box office. The movie, which also stars his ex-flame Katrina Kaif, is a masala entertainer about a RAW agent and the battle he faces for love.

Given that the theme of the movie is rather similar to Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Agent Vinod’ — which released earlier this year and didn’t do well at the box office — one would assume that the junior nawab would be feeling a little bitter. But his fiancee, Kareena Kapoor, is quick to dismiss these rumours.

She insists that she’s happy that Ek Tha Tiger is doing so well and adds that she and Saif don’t compare the movie to ‘Agent Vinod’.

When asked about the lukewarm reception that their film got, Kareena says, “Both Saif and I don’t think that way. We are both fans of Salman. He is the tiger of the industry — we can’t think of anything that way (sic).”

Adds Kareena, “Salman is great. Saif made ‘Agent Vinod’ straight from his heart. It was his dream.”

Saif is the son of late cricketer and Nawab of Pataudi, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who was fondly called Tiger Pataudi.

‘Agent Vinod’, which was Saif’s production, featured some daring stunts.
