Dejected BPO employee commits suicide

The deceased, Sowmya, was working for a firm in White Field. She was a native of Brahmavar, near Udupi. Sources said, Sowmya was the only daughter of a retired employee and was engaged to a boy in Saudi Arabia. She had informed her parents that she was not interested in settling abroad but her parents had hoped of convincing her. Depressed over this, she might have taken the extreme step, the police said.

Woman found dead
A 60-year-old woman died under mysterious circumstances in K S Layout on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Leela Prakash. After neighbours complained of foul smell, the door was forcibly opened and the body was discovered. The husband of the deceased had deserted her and was running a garment outlet near Jayanagar 9th Block. Sources said, Leela was suffering from uterus problems and had no issues.
