<p>HCC signed a MoU with international engineering & project management company Amec Plc to jointly explore application of consulting and EPC services for establishment of nuclear power plants in India. <br /><br />L&T said it could build nuclear plants capable of producing 3,000-4,000 MW of power every year. Chairman A M Naik said his company had inked memoranda of understanding with “almost all” companies . L&T was in talks with Canadian nuclear firms to build 1,200 MW reactors.</p>
