<p>Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa’s sons were granted exemption from appearing before a Lokayukta Court by the Karnataka High Court on Monday, in connection with an illegal land denotification case.<br /><br /></p>.<p> The trial before the Lokayukta Court is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, September 25.<br />B Y Raghavendra and B Y Vijendra procured the order during the hearing of a petition filed by their father, which sought quashing private complaints against all of them in the illegal land denotification case.<br /><br /> Justice Nagmohan Das granted Raghavendra and Vijendra exemption from appearing personally in the trial and adjourned the main question - of quashing the private complaints - for further hearing.<br /><br />In one complaint, it is alleged that Yeddyurappa illegally denotified a Bangalore Development Authority property, granted a mining lease and allotted discretionary category sites to his son Raghavendra and MLC Bharati Shetty.<br /><br /> In the other complaint, the Lokayukta court initiated proceedings against Yeddyurappa’s family members and associates for allegedly receiving Rs 8 crore for illegally allotting land.</p>
