<p>A nine-year-old boy, who was missing since Saturday, was found dead at Dwarka in south-west Delhi on Tuesday evening.<br /><br /></p>.<p>His parents had registered a complaint of kidnapping with Bindapur police station.<br />According to police, Khalid, a resident of Punarwas colony in Bindapur, was found dead in Dwarka sector-13. Several injury marks have been found on his body. <br /><br />“We have registered a case of murder and the body has been sent to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for post-mortem,” a senior police official said.<br /><br />Khalid was missing since Saturday evening after he left his house for playing in the area.<br />His father Noor Alam, a contractor, had filed a missing person’s complaint with Bindapur police station.<br /><br />A day after, police registered a case of kidnapping, but they failed to trace the boy.<br />Police found a stone near his body which seemed to have been used to kill the boy. <br /><br />“Several injury marks were also there on his face and body which seem to have been caused with a blunt object,” said Anil Kumar Ojha, additional commissioner of police (south-west).<br /><br />No ransom call was made, but police have initiated a probe from all possible angles. Many people living in the area are being questioned, said the official.<br /></p>
