The Anti Naxal Force has resumed combing operation in the Agumbe region following lukewarm response by the ultras for the surrender package announced by the State government.
According to sources, the operation is on at Mallandur, Agasarakone, Hosagadde, Ulumadi, Kundadri, Kendalbailu, Gardharagadde, Tallurangagi, Anandur, Balehalli, Chimbri, Makodu, Ilimane and other villages close to Agumbe.
The State government had suspended operation against the Maoists for about a week. Dry spell in the region has helped ANF in combing operation.
