Pointing to reports appeared in Deccan Herald and Prajavani, he questioned the elected representatives: “Haven’t you read the papers today? It seems the flood-hit people have no water to drink. Why are you so lackadaisical?”
The elected representatives, who were on a morning walk with the CM, were so taken aback by the questions that some even made calls to this reporter to know what has appeared in the newspaper.
Referring to a news item on Bijapur MLA Appu Pattanashetty going on padayatra to Tulajapura, the CM asked all the elected representatives to be in the district and help the people during crises.
